Innovative design is key to this seven-unit apartment complex. Inspiration came first from the property limitations and secondly from the desire to create apartments without the “big box” feel.
By angling the units, residents have a higher level of privacy and sound insulation, a "single home" quality in an apartment setting. The building orientation and careful placement of windows frees neighbors from the feeling that renters are peering down into their backyards.
