Located adjacent to the lifts, skiers and snowboarders can rent or buy equipment at the spacious store and be on the slopes in no time. The rear entrance allows direct ski-in for repairs and equipment return.
A narrow, irregularly shaped building lot and a steep mountain site were major design challenges for the project architect. Innovative design turned the problems into assets. By stepping the building up the hill, entries, at grade, are found at both front and rear entrances to Brian Head Sports.
Sandstone, split-face concrete block, and an exposed wood frame give the building a rustic ski cabin feel. Materials also meet Brian Head Ski Resort's building design requirements.
