Home Planning Guide - Step 4e

Select:

The design or combination of designs with the most functional and appealing building shape and site layout. Have your architect prepare a 3D computer model of the home and site to assist you in visualizing the completed home.

Finalize:

The construction budget based on the square footage, materials, and complexity of the preferred design.

Financing:

You now know your needs, have chosen a lot, and have established a construction budget. This is a good time to visit potential lenders for a discussion of your financing needs.

    • Maximize solar heating in winter and natural ventilation in summer
